More good weather and exploring St Augustine. We decided not to go back to the evil boat eating dock up river to have the scratch buffed out, afraid we would get into a vicious cycle of scratch and repair. We will buff out the gel coat repair some day. It looks perfect if you stay back at least ten feet.
We continued to enjoy St Augustine with things like distillery tours, walking tours, etc, but were ready to leave on December 2nd. We apparently have a limit on the number of times we can enjoy the pirate ships and tourist schooners going by every night, and the music from shore seemed to be getting louder. A nor’easter was blowing down the coast, so we stayed a couple days longer than planned, but finally got underway on the 5th.
